Sixty-eight (68) people were killed and 1,803 others were injured in 1,434 traffic accidents in one week, a statement from Civil Protection said Tuesday.
The heaviest toll was recorded in the wilaya of Constantine, with 11 people dying at the scene of the accident and 59 others injured being taken care of by Civil Protection emergency services in 52 road accidents, the same source said.
